Mediations require a 3-hour minimum.  Additional time will be billed at the hourly rate is $100.00 per hour for each party. The hourly rate applies to the mediation conference, any applicable travel time, if any, and any preparation, including the review of materials submitted by the parties. Please email us no later than one (1) week prior to the mediation to discuss the need for and nature of any pre-mediation submissions.

In-person mediations, which require travel and other logistics, may require pre-payment.

Minimum Charge - Rule 10.430, Florida Rules for Certified and Court Appointed Mediators, requires that “[A] mediator shall schedule mediation in a manner that provides adequate time for the parties to fully exercise their right of self-determination.”  We would rarely to schedule more than one mediation per day as we generally commit an entire work day to each case, we will apply a minimum charge of 3 hours.

     

Cancellation Charge -  A non-refundable administration fee of $100 per person is collected at the time of scheduling. In the event mediation is cancelled, the administration fee of $100 per person paid at the time of scheduling will be assessed.
